Welcome to the Workplace of the Future

Our firm is completely rethinking the way we work. Our national real estate project will create an outstanding experience – for our people and our clients – through dynamic and collaborative workplaces that fundamentally change how we interact with each other. We are committed to the idea that professionals of the future need a workplace of the future. As you’re part of the Deloitte family, we’d like to keep you up to date on our journey.
Our new workplaces will be much more than a new office. It will be an agile work environment that encourages people to make connections that strengthen our ability to win in the market. Our new offices will cater to a wide range of work styles with value-add features such as team collaboration areas, quiet spaces, wellness centres and high standards of environmental sustainability and inclusion. Our new workplace will allow our people to choose the type of space they require for the type of work they have to do. It just makes sense.
We began creating this experience in Ottawa and St. John’s last year, and we are so excited to bring the Workplace of the Future to Montreal in Summer 2015 and to Toronto after that. We have a tremendous opportunity to lead the way in Canada, and to inspire our people and clients to work differently and to perform beyond expectation.
We’re so excited about Workplace of the Future and we want you to be part of this journey. In the next several issues of the alumni newsletter, we’ll share our progress, some lessons learned and how the Workplace of the Future supports the way we work and collaborate with each other and with our clients and alumni. In fact, our alumni will be among the first to visit our new buildings, tour the facilities and celebrate with us.
